Greggory Allen Braden




RIFLE, Colo. — Greggory Allen Braden, 35, of Rifle, Colo., left his loved ones on Nov. 26, 2008.

Gregg was born May 28, 1973, in Chippewa Falls to Beverly Jean and Allen Eugene Braden. He attended elementary school in Cornell and high school in Rifle, Colo.

Gregg loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling, but most of all, his true passion was spending time with his family and friends. For the past several years, Gregg owned and operated his own framing company in Grand Junction, Colo., until closing it and going to work in the energy industry.

Gregg is known to everyone as a loving husband, father, son and brother, a hard worker, a man with a big heart and always the first to step in and lend a helping hand to anyone and everyone.

He is survived by: his wife, Michele; three sons, Kirby, Cody and Matthew; step-sons Jacob and Zachary; his mother, Beverly (Ed) Gray of Grand Junction, Colo.; father Allen (Julie) Braden of Holcombe; step-father Norm (Melanie) Braden of Grand Junction, Colo.; sister Brenda (Ike) Apolinar; two brothers, Brent and Eric; five nephews, Brandon, Tylor, Justin, Rico and Miklo; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gregg was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Harold and Ruth Pastorius, Eugene Braden, Marie Harrington, Raymond Braden and his brother, Kirby Braden, as well as other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Rifle Funeral Home in Rifle, Colo.
