Alne service




A funeral service for 1st Lt. Jesse A. Alne, USAF, 26, of Little Rock Air Force Base in Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Elk Mound, was held on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls.

The Rev. Paul Oppedahl officiated at the service with music provided by organist Barbara Sandford and vocalists Ron Buckles and Nikki Harper. The Air Force Medal of Commendation was presented to Jesse’s family by Col. Patrick Mordente and Lt. Col. Philip Everitte. Casketbearers included Jon Small, Andy Henning, Nick Cartwright, Rob Reed USAF, Peter Vaiana USAF, Metodi “Toad” Roulev USAF and Jesse’s military escort, Chris McClintock USAF.

Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls, where military honors were presented by the Honor Guard from the Grand Forks Air Force Base and the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council. The flag was presented by the USAF Honor Guard with a flyover by the USAF C-130 Hercules from the Little Rock Air Force Base. Bugler, Jennah Burggraf played Taps during the flyover.

Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel is serving the Alne family.
