Marshfield Clinic Hallie Center nears opening

Special to the Herald

Marshfield Clinic Lake Hallie Center will open for patient care at 8 a.m. Monday, December 8.

In addition to primary care services, Marshfield Clinic Lake Hallie Center will provide Urgent Care services for the northern part of the Chippewa Valley, including Chippewa, northern Eau Claire and eastern Dunn Counties. In the coming months, a pharmacy will also open.

The 15,000-square-foot facility, located at the northwest corner of County Highway OO and 130th Street in Lake Hallie, will offer patients additional hours of service, more exam room space and an increased number of providers, according to Marg Feiler, Marshfield Clinic’s Regional Primary Care Development director.

"Marshfield Clinic Lake Hallie Center is perfectly situated to serve one of the fastest growing regions of the Chippewa Valley," Feiler said. "We’re excited about the convenience and access we will provide at Lake Hallie Center."

Family Medicine Physician Stacey Sperlingas, M.D., will see primary care patients from 8 a.m. — 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

In addition, Urgent Care at Marshfield Clinic Lake Hallie Center will be available on a walk-in basis from 8 a.m. — 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. It will be staffed by four providers who will see patients from infancy through geriatrics.

A formal dedication for Marshfield Clinic Lake Hallie Center is planned from 5 — 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 9. The public is invited to attend.

The clinic in Lake Hallie is the newest of Marshfield Clinic’s primary care facilities to open in northwestern Wisconsin. Earlier this year, Marshfield Clinic Cumberland Center and the new Marshfield Clinic Rice Lake Center opened for patients. Two additional Marshfield Clinic centers will open within the next three months in Elk Mound and Bloomer.
