The Spirit of Christmas of Chippewa County has begun receiving applications for inclusion in its 2008 program of distributing Christmas gifts to less fortunate families in Chippewa County. Applications are for gifts only, with children through 17 years old being our top priority. Some adults may be considered to the extent that donations allow.
Applications are available from the following locations during their regular office hours:
- Chippewa County Department of Human Services — Economic Support, 711 N. Bridge St., Room 119, Chippewa Falls.
- Starting Points, Inc., 13 E. Spruce St., Chippewa Falls.
- Salvation Army Food Pantry, 521 North Bridge St., Chippewa Falls.
Return all applications to one of those locations by Monday, Nov. 17, or mail applications by Monday, Nov. 17 to: Spirit of Christmas of Chippewa County, PO Box 831, Chippewa Falls, Wl 54729.
All applications turned in after Nov. 17 will be placed on a “Received Late” list. Late applications may or may not be considered, depending on availability of donated gifts.
If you move to a new address or change your telephone number after returning your application, call (715) 720-4745 (new telephone number) and leave a message with your new information, or we will not be able to notify you as to when and where to pick up your gifts.
