Bicyclist bounces off SUV, then leaves crash scene

There’s a bicycle waiting at the Chippewa Falls Police Department for a male who bounced off a SUV.
The incident was reported at 6:31 p.m. Tuesday on Woodward Avenue, 400 feet north of Highway 124.
According to a Chippewa Falls Police Department report:
A 2007 Buick SUV driven by Mary L. Amundson, 73, was turning into a parking lot at 849 Woodward Avenue when it collided with a northbound bicyclist.
Amundson said as she turned a male on a bicycle hit the front side of her vehicle and “rolled over” the SUV’s hood.
The male got up, told Amundson the was OK and walked away, leaving behind his 10-speed Schwinn bicycle.
The Buick had moderate damage. The bicycle is waiting at the police department.
