Apply for Burke fund grants

Central Lutheran Church of Chippewa Falls is seeking applicants for its Burke Social Ministry Fund. A bequest from the Estate of John and Alice Burke made possible the establishment of this perpetual fund as a means of extending the mission of our church, “Bring people into a life-celebration of Jesus Christ; Grow as disciples in community; and Serve out of our call and giftedness.”
The grants are awarded annually to not for profit organizations and special events within and outside the communities served by Central Lutheran Church. Last year 11 grants were awarded, totaling $21,700.
Grant applications can be obtained at Central Lutheran Church, 28 E. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls. Questions can be answered by calling committee members Jim Wischnewski at 723-3621, Terry Wells at 723-8292 or Barb Dukerschein at 723-0639.
Applications are due by Nov. 30.
