The Chippewa Falls Police Department responded to the following calls:
Friday, Oct. 24
9:16 a.m. A man reportedly was operating a remote control model car, which nearly stuck an anonymous caller. The man had the car going over the street and around the intersection of North Culver Street-East Grand Avenue.
10:14 a.m. Two males were sitting inside a vehicle at 309 E. Prairie View Road and appeared to be trying to conceal their faces. Rodney K. Stenseth was arrested on a probation hold.
2:18 p.m. The theft of an inflated halloween decoration valued at $40 was reported by Donna J. Loew from 1311 Green View Drive.
Saturday, Oct. 25
3:21 a.m. A 23-year-old male reportedly punched out a garage door window in the 1000 block of Dutchman Drive. Justin J. LaVelle was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital by a friend.
9:49 a.m. A laptop computer was reported stolen from 639 Woodward Avenue. Reported by Sharon L. Morley.

1:41 a.m. The Dunn County Sheriff’s Department asked for assistance in Sand Creek on an reported armed robbery with shots being fired at a residence. Two people possible left the scene on foot.
2:38 a.m. Possible gun shots were reported on 202 Street, Cornell.
1:10 p.m. The theft of a bow from a vehicle was reported by Brian M. Pitsch, 13452 County S, Jim Falls.
11:02 p.m. There was a cell report of a physical altercation. Reported from 2285 County OO, No. 3.
