The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls:

Friday, Oct. 17

8:47 a.m. Mathew G. Ruff reported real estate signs from several locations had been stolen.

9:45 a.m. Sandra K. Haas reported damage to a residence at 3023 220th St., Cadott.

11:16 a.m. April M. Powell reported someone shot her mother’s dog at 23788 County F, New Auburn.

2:14 p.m. Wooden pallets were reported stolen from the Cornell Eastside Mall, 27477 Highway 64, Cornell.

5:47 p.m. A barn fire was reported at 21180 87th St., Bloomer. Eagle Point and Tilden fire departments responded.

The Chippewa Falls Police Department responded to the following calls:

Friday, Oct. 17

10:04 a.m. Someone from Eric’s Diamonds, 111 N. Bridge St., reported the building as well as several others on the 100 and 200 blocks of Bridge Street had been paintballed overnight.

10:16 a.m. Robert F. Martineau, 902 Eagle St., reported two political signs were stolen from his yard.

2:01 p.m. Robert F. Pfiffner, 709 Miles St., reported a political sign was stolen from his yard.
