EAU CLAIRE — Irma P. Hurt, 78, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.
She was born Nov. 9, 1929, in Eagle Point to August and Emma (Blank) Neitzel. She married Robert M. Hurt on Jan. 12, 1949, in Minnesota. She worked as a bookkeeper for Perrenoud Inc. and later on was an aide at Wissota Lakeside. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, baking and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by: five sons, Roderick (Laurie) Hurt of Bloomer, Gregory Hurt of Bloomer, Brent Hurt of Bloomer, Darin (Rhonda) Hurt of Bloomer and Todd (Tami) Hurt of Chippewa Falls; one daughter Paulette (John) Morning of Evansville; one son-in-law Dan Misfeldt of Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Doris Buie of Webster, Leone (Vern) Prigge of Milwaukee and Pat (Frank) Howard of Mundelein, Ill.; one brother Eugene (Glenda) Neitzel of Cedar Hill, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Robert; one daughter Joan Misfeldt; three brothers, Clayton, William and Lowell Neitzel; and one granddaughter Jill Misfeldt.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer is in charge of arrangements.
