Sheriff

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls:

Tuesday, Sept. 2

12:32 p.m. Travis J. Russ reported an injured bald eagle on the side of the road on Highway 29 east of I-94. A DNR warden was dispatched.

1:23 p.m. Ronald W. Bultman 7831 170th Ave., Bloomer reported the theft of a white Chevy Astro van overnight.

3:24 p.m. Weather damage to several homes in Cadott was reported. There were also several reports of trees and power lines down around the county.

The Chippewa Falls Police Department responded to the following calls:

Tuesday, Sept. 2

9:56 p.m. A caller reported a fight between two women at 316 W. Central St. Apt. 1. Amanda J. Woldmoe, 17, and Rachel A. Scramek, 18, were taken into custody for disorderly conduct.

Thursday, Sept. 4

6 p.m. Town of LaFayette Board, LaFayette Town Hall.

Thursday, Sept. 11

9 a.m. Chippewa County Commission on Aging, Courthouse Room 16.
