Cadott Farmers Union member receives scholarship

Leonard Polzin of Cadott, a Wisconsin Farmers Union member, has been awarded a $500 Stanley Moore college scholarship through the National Farmers Union Foundation.
Polzin is among six scholarship winners across the country, including a man from Durand.
Polzin is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, majoring in dairy science and ag economics. He was a WFU torchbearer in 2004 and was elected as the WFU delegate to the 2008 NFU Convention. He is also currently a member of the first WFU Collegiate Chapter on the UW-River Falls campus.
