The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls:

Friday, May 16

8:30 a.m. Lake Holcombe School reported vandalism to a teacher’s personal property and phone threats.

1:48 p.m. Craig S. Webb, 8720 County B, reported someone stole diesel fuel out of his tractor which was parked in a field overnight.

3:30 p.m. James Campbell, 16277 County J, reported a theft from his residence.

3:39 p.m. Cornell Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 27307 251st St., Holcombe.

8:30 p.m. Mega Express, 1433 Commercial Blvd., Lake Hallie, reported a $22.79 gas drive-off.

9:13 p.m. A vehicle hit a pony at Highway 40 and 27th Street, Bloomer.

10:23 p.m. Scott A. Dudley, 28, was arrested on a probation hold after it was reported an intoxicated man was trying to gain access into 27122 225th Ave.

The following convictions were filed in Chippewa County Circuit Court:

n Joshua Bollom, 5281 190th St., Chippewa Falls, was found guilty of domestic battery, May 6 incident, violating his probation, local jail 8 months, $250, May 2.

n Michael Pease, 108 W. Willow St., Chippewa Falls was found guilty of theft of movable property, Jan. 23 incident, 2 years probation sentence withheld, 20 days local jail, $100, restitution, May 2.

n Casey Quigley, 1148 Dutchman Dr. #2, Chippewa Falls, had his probation revoked from a June 2007 conviction of forgery and obtaining a controlled substance by fraud, local jail 9 months, $200, May 2.

n Casey Quigley, 1148 Dutchman Dr. #2, Chippewa Falls, was found guilty of obstruction of an officer, May 2 incident, extended supervision 6 months, state prison 1 year 6 months, probation 2 years, sentence imposed, drug and alcohol treatment, May 2.

n Arlene Triplett, 3161 Runway Ave, Eau Claire, had her probation revoked from a Feb. 2007 disorderly conduct conviction, local jail 75 days, $155, May 1.

n Said Warsame, 912 Pearl St., Chippewa Falls, had his probation revoked from a Dec. 2006 conviction of possession of cocaine, 1 year local jail, $159.86, May 2.
