Students preparing ‘Joseph’ for colorful debut




For the Herald - The Chippewa Falls High School Music Department will present three performances of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23, and at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24.

Shows will be performed in the high school auditorium. The musical is directed by Wayne Marek of the Eau Claire Children Theater.

All tickets are reserved seating. Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Tickets may be purchased at Gordy’s Country Market in downtown Chippewa Falls and Mega Pick ‘N’ Save in Chippewa Falls.

Tickets may also be reserved by calling the high school music department at 726-2406, extension 1422.

On Saturday night, the high school’s orchestra department is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner in the high school cafeteria from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The Chi-Hi ninth- and 10th-grade orchestra, along with other small ensembles, will provide music throughout the dinner. The cost is $6 for adults and $5 for students, senior citizens and those 12 and under.

Dinner tickets will be available at the door and may be purchased ahead of time through the orchestra program. For more information, call the orchestra department at 726-2406, extension 1427.

Discount combination tickets for the dinner and the musical are $12 for adults, $8 for students, senior citizens and those 12 and under.
