Friday, Feb. 15

1:05 p.m. Mildred F. Kycek, 67, was arrested for state disorderly conduct. Sleepers to Sneakers, 17216 County J, Chippewa Falls reported that Kycek had made a threat about bringing a gun to the daycare center.

Saturday, Feb. 16

12:56 a.m. Christopher J. Murray, 24, was arrested for OWI. Reported from 1031 Woodward Ave.

5:04 p.m. A man reported being assaulted by unknown males. Reported from Kwik Trip, 1010 Woodward Ave.

11:16 p.m. Kevin M. Chartier, 28, was arrested for possession of THC and disorderly conduct-domestic related. Reported from 333 W. Central St. No. 3.

Sheriff

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following calls:

Saturday, Feb. 16

1:51 a.m. The theft of a jacket from Erwins 19th Hole Tavern was reported by Audrey D. Schultz, 2399 County OO, from 1705 County OO.

11:44 a.m. A mobile home fire was reported. Then at 8:32 p.m., the fire department was requested for a structure fire. The calls were made from the Curve Inn Tavern, 1399 365th St., Stanley.

6:33 p.m. A fight in progress was reported from Poos on the Pond Tavern, 17643 50th Ave., Chippewa Falls.

9:14 p.m. Jose A. Sanchez, 32, was arrested for driving after revocation third offense. Reported in the 39000 block of Highway 178, Cornell.

11:58 p.m. A physical domestic was reported in progress in the 11000 block of 19th Avenue, Chippewa Falls.

Sunday, Feb. 17

1:21 a.m. Lori A. Geissler, 38, was arrested for OWI third offense. Reported from County F-County B.

3:27 a.m. Mohamed A. Shire, 31, was arrested for OWI-first offense. Reported from County S-142nd Street, Chippewa Falls.

7:24 p.m. A retail theft suspect was reported fleeing Shopko North, 2677 South Prairie View Road.

Accidents

The following accidents were reported in the city of Chippewa Falls:

Monday, Feb. 11

2:36 p.m. A 2001 Pontiac Sunfire driven by Maryann D. Gunderson, 26, 4 1/2 Herschel St., Chippewa Falls was traveling northbound in an alley in the 10 block between Culver Street and Herschel Street. A 2002 Ford truck driven by Joseph A. LeDuc, 35, 9 N. Culver St., began backing out of his driveway and into the alley. LeDuc said he never saw Gunderson and the vehicles collided. LeDuc was cited for unsafe backing of a vehicle. Both vehicles had moderate damage.
