BLOOMER — Viola E. Donaldson, 93, of Bloomer passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at the MapleWood in Bloomer.
Viola was born on July 10, 1914, in Dallas, Wis. to Charles and Martha (Davis) Harlson. She married Lewis Donaldson in October of 1936 in Stillwater, Minn. She was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek.
She is survived by: seven children, Elwood (Nina) Donaldson of New Auburn, Elenere (Donald) Schmock of Bloomer, Robert (Liala) Donaldson of Eau Claire, Mary (Dennis) Olson of New Auburn, James (Donna) Donaldson of Bloomer, Charles (Marlene) Donaldson of Baraboo and Rose (Gary) Dalhoe of Bloomer; one sister, Dixie Nielsen of Cloquet, Minn.; 69 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband; two daughters, Hazel Anderson and Kathy Amundson; four sisters; five brothers; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-granddaughters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at New Hope Lutheran Church in Sand Creek with Pastor Barb Koch officiating. Burial will be at Popple Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at the Schriver Funeral Chapel, Bloomer and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
