EULESS, Tex. — Doris Jean “GiGi” Speer Koski, age 83, of 621 Coleman, Chippewa Falls, was lifted up by His Angels in Euless Texas, September 23rd. She previously co-owned Stan Speer Advertising, Marion, OH and Ohio China Company, Columbus, OH. Dori was born May 26, 1923, in Ft. Smith, AR, to Stan Speer and Ruberta Brumbelow Speer. She attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, later graduating from Ohio State University in 1944 where she met her hubby of 51 years, the late Ed Koski, who went Home to prepare the Mansion in 1994. Dori relocated to Chippewa Falls in 2004 to be close to her granddaughter McKinzi Simonsen, husband Erik, and great-grandchildren Zachary and Brielle. Dori is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Ellen Koski-Ponton and George, of Monroe, NC; Diana Koski Roberts-Howard and Ted, of Euless, TX; son Greg Koski and his wife Linda Powers, Holliston, MA; a niece, she raised, and husband, Jo Ellen Lynch Parsell and John, Upper Sandusky, OH; sister in law, Gay Lynch, Meadville, PA; ten additional grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Ellen Speer Lynch, and brother-in-law, Roland Lynch. A celebration service was held at Marion Cemetery, Marion, OH, September 28. In lieu of flowers, Dori has requested donations be made to: Dog Ears, 4200 E. Britton Road, Oklahoma City, Okla., 73131.
