Excellence in Education - Tyler Hoehn

Tyler Hoehn, a student at Chi-Hi, chose Chi-Hi math teacher Jeffrey Keding as his most influential educator. His parents are Judy and Bob Hoehn.

“Mr. Keding has always been there to help me in math and anything else I’ve needed help with,” Tyler said. “He is also always there for a helpful conversation.”

“Tyler is a well-organized, responsible, and conscientious individual who excels in many ways,” Keding said. “I have enjoyed Tyler’s sense of humor and desire for learning in three of my classes over the last four years. He has always demonstrated a positive attitude toward academic achievement along with excellent time management skills. Tyler’s strength of character and charismatic personality identify him as a leader among his peers.”

Tyler plans to go to UW-Madison next year to pursue a degree in civil, mechanical or chemical engineering.

He was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts, a Wisconsin Wendy’s State Heisman Winner, a three-time state qualifier for wrestling, and placed sixth in state his junior year, was a Badger Boy’s State Participant and Chi-Hi Student of the Week.
